On December 6th, La Rosa residents headed to the Chemainus Theatre to watch the spectacular showing of Its A Wonderful Life. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the show and getting into the Christmas spirit.

This Halloween was Spooktacular with lots of fun Halloween games and fun! La Rosa had contests for our staff and residents this holiday from decorating a pumpkin to a pumpkin coloring contest. Fun was had by all.

Our wonderful and mighty La Rosa Choir, the Songbirds, sang their first concert ever out of house! It was a full crowd and they did a fabulous job!

On September 20th we had a wonderful fall festival best known as Oktoberfest, celebrating food, beer, and having fun. Our staff joined in the fun by wearing traditional outfits and serving pretzels and cold beer. We had wonderful entertainment by Lou and Donna.

The Residents enjoyed the Cowichan Exhibition fair this week. We got to see our entry stamps artwork displayed proudly for all to see. As well we got to see all the local farm animals and local vendors. The mini doughnuts made it an extra special sweet treat.

We brought the fair/carnival to our residents. Games included golf, basketball, bean bag toss, ball in cup and air hockey. Fun was had by all! After the games the Ice Cream Truck was on site to hand out home made Ice Cream. Our top winners each received a medal...
