The focus at La Rosa Gardens is to provide safe and secure accommodation, as well as a comfortable, and welcoming environment for all residents.

We are here to assist residents, but not to provide care. While we cannot promise this outcome, we want residents to feel happy and safe. We will strive to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. The residents’ environment should encompass meaningful and positive relationships with staff, families, volunteers and visitors within their physical surroundings.

La Rosa management and staff are here to support residents to maximize their independence.

Staff treat residents with the utmost respect.

Staff and management are accessible to talk to you about anything, but they may not always be immediately available because of their work responsibilities and/or emergency situations.

If there is anything residents feel could be improved upon in the building or with services we encourage you to communicate this to the Manager.

Complaint Process

La Rosa Gardens has an open door policy. If a resident, family member, friend, visitor, volunteer or service provider have a concern and/or complaint they are to contact the Site Manager via telephone: 250-245-1016 or email: larosagardens@telus.net. The Site Manager will respond to the complaint within 24 hours. If the resolution or decision made based on the complaint is not satisfactory, the next step is to contact the Patient Care Quality Office: 1-877-977-5797 and/or the Assisted Living Registry: 778-974-4887 or toll-free: 1-866-714-3378.
