As the world is getting ready for World Book Day in April, so is La Rosa Gardens. Our residents made several bookmarks for our local Library for all ages to enjoy. World Book Day encourages more children and families to find the fun and enjoyment in reading.

The luck of the Irish was with us at La Rosa Gardens this week. Residents had a blast playing "Lucky Bingo", Making a Leprechaun with the staff, St. Patrick's Day coin toss, dice game and potato bowling. Winners of our games each received a pot of gold chocolates....

At La Rosa Gardens we cha-cha our way and learned a lot of new dances from old to new. This activity not only nourishes the soul but also invigorates the body and mind. Ballroom dance has long been revered for its timeless elegance and enchanting allure.

For Valentine's Day La Rosa Residents celebrated by having Cate & Brian here to sing for us. We had happy hour and 50/50. After the performance we did a draw to see who would be La Rosa's King and Queen. Our chosen winners were Johanna and Bill!
