MEET THE STAFF

Amanda – Site Manager 

Amanda Hulshof is proud to be the newest La Rosa Gardens Site Manager, being part of the team for 14 years.

Before Stepping into her current role, she was the Food and Beverage Manager, where she learned a lot about leadership, teamwork, and getting things done efficiently. 

Outside of work, she is a mom of three and loves spending time with friends and family. 

Amanda looks forward to meeting new residents and making connections with them and their families.

Amanda Hulshof has worked at La Rosa since December 2011. Amanda has worked in our kitchen as a Food Service Worker until recently when she made the switch to Food and Beverage Manager. Amanda takes pride in helping the residents in any department and has filled many roles here at La Rosa. 

Amanda has 3 children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Amanda looks forward to meeting new residents and making connections with them and their families.

Jen – Leisure Services Director 

Jen Gendron has been with La Rosa Gardens since 2004.  Jen is the Leisure Services Director & she was born in Duncan and raised in Ladysmith. Jen goes above and beyond for our residents and is a team player. Jen enjoys working with the residents and their families here at La Rosa Gardens and is also a devoted wife and mother of two.  In her free time, she loves to read and watch hockey.  Jen was also voted for the Vancouver Canucks Frontline Worker Unsung Hero Awards in 2021. Kenny

Ken Pham started at La Rosa in July of 2010. He has been a dedicated employee for 13 years. Ken is our full time Maintenance Worker, fixing most problems that arise. Ken plays a critical part in testing our alarm systems, making sure that any issues are detected and fixed promptly.

Ken has a beautiful family including 2 young boys. In Ken’s spare time he enjoys movies and long road trips. “I like that La Rosa is friendly and a calm environment where I can show my skills.”
